Welcome to the Wanaki Farm Chicken Coop Page
The Wanaki Farm chickens are free-range chickens. The chickens automatically come inside their coop every evening before sunset and the coop door automatically closes to keep them safe. The chicken coop door automatically opens again in the morning and the chickens come out. We started out with 10 chickens raised from baby chicks, but we lost 6 chickens in a single day this past Fall of 2019 from a predator attack. We currently have 4 chicken hens that are adorable to watch, and they give us 3-4 eggs every day. We just bought 7 baby chicks who are in our house under heat lamps this winter of 2020. Watch for these babies to come outside this spring of 2020.

Please let us know if you are interested in learning more about how we built our chicken coop.
I have been told that I could market our chicken coop to the public.
